Effective Date: 30 Oct 2025
These Terms (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Read app and services (collectively, the “Service”) provided by VisualCamp Co., Ltd. (“VisualCamp”, “we”, “us”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Read is a reading‑training application that generates Reading Kits (passage + drills + questions), measures absorption using answers and on‑device eye‑tracking signals, and recommends next sessions.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required by local law) to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that you have consent from a parent or legal guardian.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Keep your device secure and notify us of any unauthorized use.
4. Subscriptions, trials, and credits
- Subscriptions. We offer monthly and yearly auto‑renewing subscriptions via Apple/Google in‑app purchase. Prices vary by region and are shown in‑app. Taxes may apply.
- Free trial. If offered, trials convert to a paid subscription unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the trial in your store account settings.
- Weekday benefit. Subscribers receive one free PRO generation per weekday. On weekends there is no free generation; you may use credits to generate sessions. Free weekday allocations do not roll over.
- Credits. One generated session typically consumes 1 credit. Credits you purchase are tied to your account and are non‑transferable. Promotional or trial credits may have additional restrictions.
- No refunds. Purchases are final and non‑refundable, except as required by the platform’s policies or applicable law. If generation fails due to a system error, we provide a free regeneration.
5. License and acceptable use
- We grant you a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non‑commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.
- You agree not to: (a) reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code; (b) circumvent usage limits; (c) upload illegal, harmful, or infringing content; (d) use the Service to develop competing datasets or models; (e) misrepresent your identity or interfere with the Service.
6. Content, Generative AI, and feedback
- Reading Kits are generated for training purposes; you are responsible for how you use them. We do not guarantee absolute accuracy or fitness for any particular purpose.
- You may submit prompts or preferences; you grant VisualCamp a worldwide, royalty‑free license to use that input to provide and improve the Service.
